Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning is going to make for an interesting night. The National Weather Service in Nashville is looking at the possibility of some strong to possibly severe thunderstorms Tuesday evening. A strong low pressure system will be moving through the South on Tuesday, and by Tuesday evening precipitation will start to fall. By midnight Tuesday/Wednesday, the low pressure center will pass directly over Middle Tennessee. It is at this time that the most interesting weather could happen. After the low pressure center passes, it will begin to draw cold air into the state once again. The possibility exists for snow early Wednesday morning, but if anything falls it will not stick. The low will be around 34, so nothing major is expected. There is a LOT of uncertainty with this event, so how is it going to pan out? To be honest, I have no idea.
