Dangerous storms have fires over eastern and southeastern Texas, with tornado watches already in place! There have already been multiple tornado warnings, and tornadoes do appear to be the main threat.

I am monitoring these storms on GRlevel3 radar, and it looks pretty intense!
This is the current tornado-watch area.

Here is the SKEW-T for Lake Charles, LA, where these storms will be heading next.

This cold front looks like it is digging itself in pretty good, and with moderate instability
and good shear these storms are going to be quite powerful. If you would like to monitor this system,
head over to the Weather Forecasts tab! Be safe, and monitor local news and NOAA Weather Radio if
you are in the path of this system!
